Rockport Hummer Festival

Amy and Dorothy and I went down to Rockport to see the HummerFest they have every year when the birds stop by on their way south.

The weather cooperated perfectly, and we had some amazing sightings and experiences.

Dorothy got to release a recently banded hummingbird.

I love how the aggressive little guy chases away another bird, then looks right a the camera as if to say, "You want a piece of this?"
