Angela of Angel Hill
Our menagerie has just increased by one. One very scrawny, long-legged camelid cria. She was born Sunday late morning, and by early afternoon she had learned to walk and nurse. Pretty advanced stuff if you ask me. The father is very proud, and very . . . frustrated. He wants to get right back into the saddle, if you know what I mean, and she's not having any of it. Anyway, we're happy to have a strong, healthy, baby llama (cria) capering about the place.
I had to move the cria from the drop off by the driveway up to a flat part. Mama was not happy.
