Wildlife around Kaikoura

Just before Kaikoura, we saw a car pulled over and some folks looking at what looked like driftwood in the water ...



Oops! Not driftwood.

Greeaaat seals!! And you could get right up close. The Living Bodisattva wanted to go throught the screen, get rifht up close, and sniff.
