Asheville

Asheville has held a special place in my heart since I first saw it during a motorcycle trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway about 20 years ago. Bayou Renaissance Man has an excellent blog, and often finds great videos--this one is no exception. I would not mind having a small place somewhere around Asheville. Riding the BRP on a regular basis would be gravy.

Rockport Hummer Bird Celebration

Amy and I took her mother to Rockport for the Hummer Bird Celebration again this year. The birds weren't cooperating as much as last year, and the feeders were not packed.

We did spend some time at the raptor display and I worked on my artistic photography...

I like otters...

But then his girlfriend showed up...


And they proceeded to ... IN THE HOT TUB!
