Amy and I took our turns at the rock climbing wall. I took a couple of rides on the Flowrider. 1.2 seconds after this photo I wiped out in spectacular fashion.Amy rode the zipline that goes above the Boardwalk. It was a 45 minute wait and prep for a 10 second ride. She had a big smile afterwards.

I spent much of my childhood in Hawaii. I thought nothing of climbing around in and on pillboxes set into hillsides. I visited the Arizona memorial, but I didn't really understand what it was about. I understand now, and remember.

I let Dingo out at 545 the other morning after a huge rainstorm. He ran straight to the back yard and began to bark relentlessly. I finally went out to see what had him agitated. Looks like this little vulture was blown or washed out of his perch, and he took refuge under my truck.

Amy and I just got back from the 2009 International Balloon Fiesta. We stayed in Santa Fe, and left at 4:45 every morning to arrive at the field by 6 am. Dawn Patrol by the Intel balloon. Sunrise. Some of the special shapes in silhouette.

In Ketchikan, seaplanes landed right next to our cruise ship. It seemed like the rate was about one every two or three minutes. We went ziplining in the rainforest. Woohoo! After the zipline, you took a 300 foot alpine slide, riding down on a burlap bag. This is referred to as, "Mooning Eagle."
